SUPEREX

SUPEREX systems are flexible solutions for supercritical CO₂ extraction (SFE), available in laboratory, pilot and industrial configurations and adaptable to a wide range of applications. Depending on the model, the systems offer extraction vessels of various volumes, operation at pressures up to 345 bar (higher in certain configurations), precise PID temperature control and automatic pressure regulation, with the option of adding a co-solvent, multiple extractors and separators, and a CO₂ recycling system. Stainless-steel construction, easy loading and cleaning, and the ability to handle both solid and liquid samples make SUPEREX well suited to research, development and production of natural extracts, aromas, oils and other valuable components, with system configuration tailored to specific process requirements.

Microwave digestion – SRC technology

ultraCLAVE

With patented SRC technology (Single Reaction Chamber), the ultraCLAVE™ instrument allows mixed, diverse matrices to be processed in the same run. The ultraCLAVE™ uses vials and vial racks instead of traditional digestion vessels and rotors, reducing the sample-handling steps before the digestion run starts. By improving this important step, ultraCLAVE™ completely changes the approach to sample preparation for microwave digestion, increasing the overall efficiency of elemental analysis. This new generation of microwave digestion in a single high-pressure reactor can digest up to 77 samples simultaneously at temperatures up to 300 °C and pressures up to 200 bar, taking a laboratory’s overall productivity to a much higher level.

FREESTYLE SPE robotic system – a brilliant principle!

In almost every analytical laboratory, samples are routinely cleaned up on SPE columns to obtain clean solutions for subsequent analysis or analyte concentration. Automation is the perfect way to simplify these routine steps, achieve reproducible results and ensure good recovery. FREESTYLE SPE offers unique capabilities for sample preparation by solid-phase extraction (SPE). Any manual SPE method that has already proven itself in the laboratory can be automated quickly and easily. The fields of application are broad: from mycotoxins and environmental analysis to forensic applications and doping-control samples.

The range of usable columns extends from 1 mL SPE cartridges to large-volume glass columns:

• All SPE cartridges from 1 mL, 3 mL and 6 mL up to 15 mL
• All standard immunoaffinity columns (1 mL / 3 mL)
• Glass columns up to 105 × 17.5 mm inner diameter, or about 19 mL

Flexible sample loading

Highly flexible sample loading opens up a wide range of applications: from large volumes (up to 100 mL) in mycotoxin analysis down to just a few µL, for example in forensics. FREESTYLE technology offers the right solution for every application, which can simply be selected in the software when setting up the method.

SYSTEC MEDIAPREP media preparator

Automatic media preparators (culture media preparators and culture media sterilizers) are optimized for the preparation, sterilization and sterile filling of liquids such as agar media, peptone water and buffer solutions, or other sterile liquid media. They are available in seven sizes for 10 to 120 litres of media. They feature improved heating performance, rapid cooling, a magnetic stirrer, an inner container, filling nozzles, and ports for filling and adding supplements with a temperature interlock. Optimized automation controls process times and ensures high-quality sterile media.

SYSTEC MEDIAFILL plate pouring system

A system for automated dispensing and pouring of microbiological media into Petri dishes of 35, 60, 70 and 90 mm diameter, as well as into bi-plates and tri-plates, and for automatic dispensing of liquid media. Depending on requirements, there are three carousel sizes for 220, 440 or 660 Petri dishes. The system is simple and intuitive to operate – for example, the dimensions of the Petri dishes in use can be recalled from a database via the 5.7″ display. Sterile automatic dispensing is performed precisely by an integrated peristaltic pump. With a range of options, the Systec Mediafill can be configured ideally for a wide variety of applications.
