Flammables and Volatile Substances

These cabinets are used for the safe, passive storage of flammable liquids in work rooms in accordance with applicable national regulations. The models are tested, certified and marked according to the requirements of EN 14470-1.

Robust construction and longevity: triple hinged door, body made of powder-coated sheet steel, safety elements assembled outside the cabinet for increased protection against corrosion. Two in one: 2 compartments (vertically separated) allow the storage of flammable liquids and aggressive chemicals in one cabinet. User-friendly and safe: door open arrest system (standard), convenient and safe removal or storage of containers. No unauthorised use: doors lockable with profile cylinder (integration into an existing locking system possible). Easy alignment: adjusting aids to compensate for uneven floors. Ventilation: integrated air ducts ready for connection (DN 75) to a technical exhaust system.

Aggressive, non-flammable liquids

Acids and Alkalis

Secure storage of aggressive liquids in accordance with regulations (not for the storage of flammable liquids).

Two in one: two hermetically separated storage compartments allow the isolated storage of acids and bases in one cabinet. No unauthorised use: doors lockable with profile cylinder (integration into an existing locking system possible). Easy alignment: adjusting aids to compensate for uneven floors.

Flammable and aggressive substances in one cabinet

Combi Storage

The left compartments of the cabinets are used for the safe, passive storage of flammable liquids in work rooms in accordance with applicable national regulations and are tested, certified and marked in accordance with the requirements of EN 14470-1. The right compartments are used for the separate storage of aggressive, non-flammable hazardous substances (e.g. acids and alkalis). Model versions MH/MV: cabinet interior with a vertical, or a vertical and horizontal partition, enabling the separate storage of hazardous substances in two or four compartments.

Please note: the separate storage of different hazardous substances in the safety cabinet takes place without taking into account other fire protection requirements.

3-stage alarm and active fire suppression

Li-ion Battery Storage and Charging

Safety storage cabinets for lithium-ion batteries, with extended protection for the professional handling of lithium-ion batteries, including a 3-stage alarm and an active fire suppression system. During active storage, lithium-ion batteries or battery packs are charged or partially discharged (60–70%) in the cabinet using a charger.

Hazards reliably identified: with the LED display and visual/audible alarms, developing fires can be recognised quickly without opening the cabinet doors. Insulated shelves, propagation-tested for safety at every storage level: in the event of a battery fire, spread to other batteries is prevented. Smoke detectors and a temperature sensor detect even incipient fires and can quickly transmit alarms to the building control system. The ventilation attachment prevents heat build-up while the batteries are charging.

Centrifugal fan RCRv075, ATEX

Technical Ventilation of Safety Storage Cabinets

RCRv075 centrifugal fans are suitable for extracting dust-free air and aggressive gases. The fans are also suitable for use in hazardous areas in accordance with ATEX 2014/34/EU (versions RCRv075 and RCRv075 Ex-EL). The maximum temperature of the extracted medium is 40 °C. The dust content of the conveyed gas must not exceed that of outside air in industrial areas (< 5 mg/m³). The temperature at the installation site must not exceed 40 °C. The fan must be protected against falling objects (X marking).

Recirculating air filter system UFA.20.30

Recirculating Air Filter System

Recirculating air filter system – avoid complex wall breakthroughs and expensive exhaust air ducts. The plug-in recirculating air filter system type UFA.20.30 permanently retains solvent vapours (hydrocarbons) with an efficiency of more than 99.999 % until the filter is saturated, under normal operating conditions as well as in a simulated accident in the safety storage cabinet.
